Analyst

Opinion Dynamics Corporation, a leading consulting and market research firm with a niche in energy efficiency and social marketing, is looking for an analyst to add to its growing Oakland, CA office. ODC's Oakland office conducts state-of-the-art evaluations of energy efficiency programs as well as comprehensive market assessments, both regionally and nationally.

Our team seeks an enthusiastic researcher with solid analytical capabilities, experience writing analytical reports, strong managerial and organizational skills, and an ability to think out of the box. We are looking for a candidate who enjoys both quantitative and qualitative data analysis and who is interested in learning new methods and techniques. Candidates must be able to review data tables, conduct in-depth interviews, and have demonstrated strong organizational skills since this position includes tracking a large number of electronic databases and files. The ideal candidate will have experience using SPSS.

Candidates must be comfortable working independently under tight deadlines and be capable of relaying complex information in a concise, organized format for reporting to clients. Some travel may be required.

One to two years work experience in research or consulting preferred, but not required.
