Jeremy Eddy is a Managing Director/Vice President at Opinion dynamics with more than 10 years’ in the energy efficiency field. He serves as operational manager for the Data Science Group and contributes to a broad range of project work and business development efforts. In these capacities he facilitates successful prioritization and communication of work flow while promoting and guiding staff development. His energy efficiency expertise is in leading applied research projects to improve the tools and techniques used in energy efficiency program evaluation. Mr. Eddy has managed contracts and evaluation work focused on residential and commercial impact and process evaluations in different regions of the U.S., with particular emphasis on residential lighting, residential audits, and net energy savings research. He is leading client engagements regarding evaluation framework development and peer comparison analysis in Hawaii and contributing to Distributed Energy Resources (DER) business and project development in California. He has given conference presentations at the Association of Energy Service Professionals (AESP) and at the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) on energy efficiency program scoring metrics, the energy implications of water conservation, lighting-HVAC interactive effects in the residential environment, the incremental cost of energy efficiency in televisions, and innovation in net-to-gross interviewing in the industrial environment. Mr. Eddy holds an M.S. in Energy and Resources from the University of California, Berkeley (ERG) and a B.A. from Brown University. He is based in Opinion Dynamics’ Oakland, California office.
