Florida Department of Citrus
ODC is currently under contract with the Florida Department of Citrus (FDOC) to provide ongoing research on a variety of issues of importance to the organization. ODC has conducted a number of custom research studies for FDOC, focusing on such issues as awareness of Florida Citrus advertising and public relations campaigns and changes in consumer behavior regarding Florida Citrus products. FDOC also takes regular advantage of the ODC omnibus survey, purchasing questions on surveys several times per year. In addition to general custom research conducted by ODC, the Department of Citrus has found ODC omnibus surveys to be an excellent opportunity to obtain timely and useful research at little cost.
National Turkey Federation
ODC maintains an ongoing relationship with the National Turkey Federation. ODC has worked closely with the full-service communications firm Devine & Pearson to provide a range of research services, including the evaluation of an ongoing campaign to promote turkey consumption. The evaluation involved a combination of methodologies, including telephone and Internet surveys of target consumers, while supplementing the research with questions on the ODC omnibus survey. The National Turkey Federation has added questions to ODC omnibus survey on other topics as well.
Produce Marketing Association
ODC is the preferred research vendor for the Produce Marketing Association. As part of this relationship, ODC conducts dozens of studies each year for PMA and its members. The research for PMA has included several examples of each of the major types of association research, including projects focusing on the attitudes and opinions of members and conference attendees, and well as projects that examine the opinions of the general public on produce related issues. ODC has also embarked on a preferred vendor program with PMA, which provides research to PMA members at a discounted rate. The research conducted for PMA has led to a series of organizational changes that has led to increased satisfaction on behalf of the thousands of members of PMA.
