ODC analytic and project management staff conduct all in-depth qualitative interviewing. For all in-depth interviewing, it is imperative that the interviewer knows the subject well enough to probe on key issues, and to elicit unexpected information. For in-depth interviews, we record and transcribe each interview to ensure we capture all comments in their entirety. Whenever possible, we have the same interviewer conduct all interviews with a particular market actor group to maintain consistency of reporting.
